So one thing I've been told over and over is that I must try the sushi when I go to San Francisco - you're right by the water, everything is incredibly fresh and reasonably priced. So that's what we did. After a quick search on Yelp, we found Sushi Toni just a short walk from Union Square. 733 Bush Street to be exact. In fact, I will need to remember it when I go back! I didn't get any pictures - nothing lasted long enough on their plates to be photographed :) , but I will say it is the freshest tasting Sushi I have ever had. Delicious. If you're in San Francisco, try him out!

Imagine this as the backdrop... This beautiful view was the scene for my little brother's wedding to my lovely new sister-in-law. Absolutely. Breathtaking.
Just down the block from our hotel is Union Square where they had these gorgeous unbelievably huge Angel's Trumpets. They were the perfect size for Munkie... as a cowboy hat!

Hee hee, I love how these flowers are almost as big as my head! (and I have a big head)

Me and my little sister, and Munkie at one of the Hearts in Union Square

We drove in to San Francisco to check out the area - it's been over two years for me, and I was glad to be back! We stayed at the Hotel DIVA right next to Union Square. Pretty neat place to stay. Especially loved the quotes and ads they had up. I even spotted a pair of Louboutins on legs crawling underneath a crispy white bed sheet (hee hee)!
There were celebrity handprints outside, but I only got a picture of this metal plate- for my boys, Doggy Divas

Inside the room were these fantastic shades, made me want to see what the other rooms had! Phu said our room was a little nicer than theirs. I didn't get to check out the Diva lounges they had, their beds were just *that* comfy.

or how I sold 29 iPads

Phu and I went to pick up Craig. She typed up her special "jub ju bobo" greeting into iBanner on my iPad and we waited for him to make his exit. Just about everyone stopped to read it, and no one had any idea what it was supposed to say :) Everyone smiled though, and I bet they thought it was awsome. Who wouldn't want to be greeted by a scrolling sign at the airport!

My little buggers. I take an awful lot of pictures of them. They'll have nearly a week without me as I fly to California to hang out with family and see some sights. It's funny, when we first started taking Wilson to the park, he acted much like a teenager being dropped off at the mall - very "ok mom, just go away now, you're embarrassing me". Now that we have Colin, Wilson is always looking for me to play with him or hand over a treat.
I want everything and I want it now! shoe
As someone who appreciates a good pair of heels, I can't stop looking at the Louboutin Stringita (at Saks for a pretty penny). It has everything that ever crosses my mind when deciding what to wear! Snakeskin or cow... oo both!! Leopard print or just black... definitely both!! Pump or flip flop.... how about both?!! Gosh, I really need a pedicure...or, I could just lotion up my heels, slip into this slingback and wah-la! Now that's an amazing shoe!
And for it's price tag, it could very well be the only shoe in my closet :) I haven't tried it on yet. I'm afraid to - I might really like it... or hate it.
Year One
This Easter marked Wilson's first year of adoption with us :) We met him at a pug meet up last March, and after much deliberation, he came home with us as our Easter Puggie.

This was him, the day we met - so happy to get his butt skritched. So pudgy you could set a table for a family of 6 on his back. But I fell in love. In the year we've had him, he's road trip to mom and dad's, stayed in a pet friendly hotel in Austin, and even has his own wardrobe drawer. He gets fed some seriously delicious food that includes homemade soups, eggrolls, chicken salad - not table scraps... meals. In return I have warm feet at night and a wingman wherever I go.

Here he is a year later, happy as can be, slimmer, and incredibly spoiled. Happy anniversary, little man.
I'd like a little of that please
Missing the days of the snocone stand around the corner in Austin, I went on a search for a snocone stand here in Houston. Afterall, it's crazy hot outside, not to mention incredibly humid, so there has to be snocone stands a plenty, right? Not so much. But thanks to google and facebook, we found Mam's House of Ice. A nice little stand in the Heights that opens just about every afternoon and even has doggy cones (with chicken broth)!

Wilson finished his doggy cone and is looking to try out the Mojito...
